S/he seems to be recovering from an eating disorder, and the tat itself is a celebration of recovery. And if I read right, is a FTM transgender candidate. siegeengine has a wonderful fiery response to the unamendable "we respect the troops" & "we aren't pulling out of Iraq" resolution over the weekend. driftingfocus because it's a name I think familiar, which may be a way home. Nice photography of a pretty purple flower. We're on the same community cooking together, but I try not to use communities. I consider it cheating. And there's baaaaabyanimals, which would be why the name is familiar. mopedronin, because this was the first person rather than community LJ I saw. teadee is on my friendslist. Hops: 6 New friends: None this time Dear God, my eyes LJ layouts: thankfully zero. That was short. Think I'll do another! rick_werner -- uh oh, all in Russian! Friendslist too. But it can't hurt to try. and_too chosen randomly since I can't understand Russian. She's in Russian too. ive_kendall has an icon of a hedgehog, which is cute. Still in Russian. _kaina_ has a great photo of a rasbperry. Still in Russian. But one English word. kkaplin has a fully English LJ entry header, and an icon with a beautiful Aborigine child...but the LJ is still in Russian. I see photographers, but a community is never my first choice. It'll be an emergency exit if I get completely walled in. eihwaz seems familiar. The photography is beautiful. Looks like everybody on the friendslist is a photographer. Wow. Some really amazing work. Still in Russian, though. heaven_quake caught my attention next. And has exhibitionism_2 on his friendslist where there are rather immense photos of erect penii. o.O suejc3dogs is in ENGLISH! THANK YOU! He's also a fanfiction writer. 2_the_max because I don't want to go back to Russian. artic_fox has a Johnny Depp icon, which caught my attention. Well and truly back in English speaking LJ land now, but it seems to be all communities. dreamybritactor is the first non-community I see. And it's an LJ dedicated to Dreamy Brit Actors. Hee. crumpeteer is a username which amuses me. Crumpeteer likes Inuyasha, which may then lead me toward home. Good choice. Belongs to userpicks which means I may well have a way home. Further down the friendslist I see apocalypsos mentioned. She is usually my beacon home, but she's just mentioned here, rather than actually posting herself, so I can't take it. is an anime fan. Another step in the right direction, maybe? clover_magic gets my sympathy for how sucky job hunting is. I see campersfuckoff which reminds me of campfuckudie...but will it lead me home? Since campfuckudie also appears on the friendslist, I am pretty sure I'm close since my boyfriend, shaycaron at one time belonged to campfuckudie... magicbulletgirl was one of the first non-community names I hadn't already ventured through. chibiyuuto's icon caught my eye. I may be venturing further from home, but I went instead with ytak due to a Fullmetal Alchemist icon, because that's an interest I share personally and so do many on my friendslist. jenn_chan85 also shares the Fullmetal love. has the first name that isn't a community...and makes remarks that make me think this person likes the Angry Beavers. This person has metaquotes on the flist, so maybe another way home. Will it be apocalypsos again? Ooh, they also like Firefly. Another interest in common! But Dear God, my eyes, at that layout! ceramic_chicken is the first person in several pages of friendslist that wasn't a community. This person likes Bleach, which may also be a way home if I find a fan with a familiar name. But no, more communities. So I find another name and take it. sarichan likes Dr. Who. Again with a fandom my friendslist tends to like. Also belongs to the knitting community, at which I should point some of my friends if they're not already on it. And punk_knitters. Heh. I didn't know there were punk knitters. Uh-oh. Can't seem to find any non-community posts... to the userinfo. Random pick requiemtwilight's first post took me rather aback, so didn't stay long. cosmicmonster has an icon that doesn't sit well, but it's another familiar fandom. Getting to the journal gives hope as the default icon is for my beloved Gatchaman. Very hard layout to read, though. The white on blue. wyldkyss has amused me as I scanned, so this person is next. And with discouragement I hit the friendslist and -- YES! theferrett is on my friendslist, but in case I'm not on his: manifestress is definitely a co-friend. Hops: 25. Wow. 1:01 pm [dorrie6]	My first livejourney I stumbled on this community randomly today, and decided to give it a try. Here is the story of my journey (recorded as I went): Started at whoa_delley, who claims to be a bad driver. Small f-list, so this should be interesting. Next on to unspoken_love, and then to ufeelthecold, who is in Baton Rouge. They have not posted since July. Clicked to iluvmonkeyz (because, monkeys) who is from New Orleans and hasn't posted since April. I find myself wondering where they are now, and if they still lived there when the storm hit. Then to alphaaquinas from Kentucky. None of these people post anymore. Over to ohnotmytrousers from New York. Again, someone who hasn't posted since June. These people are not natural bloggers. turkey_dog lives in the same town, and actually posts. Definitely a teenager. I couldn't resist heading over to honesty_kills, though it may have been a mistake, since there are so few journals to choose from. Then to as_i_lay_dying6, who hasn't posted since 2004, and out_of_place who has "harry potter" as an interest! I start to feel hopeful. This is a crucial choice now, I think. I want to stay on this path. I possibly took a wrong turn at naughtymermaid, though bleachedlithium looks more promising. Was drawn to andraste_tree, and I feel I have come to an oasis. Much hope here. We even have a community in common, though I won't use it for the journey. I see moonilicious, which looks familiar for a reason! I am on this friends list! It seems like cheating to stop here, but we have several friends in common, so I click on vissy and I am home. (Comment on this)

And since we all know how sacred and essential chocolate is to women's survival, I have no choice but to comply! Bustin' out the gate is _outrospective. He's a Philly boy about to complete college. He doesnt write much but from what I read he at least has two brain cells to rub together. irishsharkbait had an interesting user name so I thought I'd take a gander. Oy my eyes!! Oy the meme's!! Run away, run far far awayyyyyyyy! Let's hope unfazeable is better. Well, at least the journal isnt blinding, but the last entry was in June and full of angst. What IS it with the youth of America? Pop a Twinkie and suck it up kids! Looks like I'm still stuck in Philly with rainydreams. She doesnt update much but I see that she's contemplating grad school. I'm all for higher education! Go sister! eyesofathena102 was an intriguing name so that was my next bunny hop. She works at a bank, poor girl. Guess she has to give up that nose ring and be all nice and conservative now. A fate worse than death in my book, but hey...whatever wiggles yer worm, right? In honor of the full moon, I chose songtothemoon. ~whine~ Why oh WHY do people insist on having these elaborate backgrounds that make it impossible to read their microscopic pink text? Pity, she seemed like someone worth reading but the eye strain was more than she was worth. Booo! No Cadbury Egg for you this year missy! Monkey!! seamonkey to be exact. Her journal is friends only but the bio is amusing enough to make me add her to the friend list. And she likes Ani D! Good schtuff.... Look out Tokyo, its babygodzilla! In addition to random escapes from Monster Island, she likes cats, butterflies and gummi bears. Hey, stomping petrified Japanese people is bound to work up an appetite! Oh, and we can all rest easy now that we know her "toilet habits are much more pleasant now". Thank goodness! Cleaning up a major city after destruction and mayhem is difficult enough to accomplish without having to invent a giant pooper scooper for godzilla turds! Hmmm...I wonder if she uses a litterbox? In honor of my love for irony, I picked joeirony who lives somewhere in the swamps of New Jersey. Hmmm...interesting in a Woody Allen kind of way. Let's throw caution to the wind and check on goddessofsex! Oh. My. I think my brain needs a shower now.... After washing out my eyeballs, I timidly advanced to fallenpegasus. He seems interesting so I mark him down as someone to read further. Onward to volta! Anyone who lists geeks as an interest is ok in my book. And lookie there! Auspicious-- this seems like a really interesting person. Nice, soothing color scheme; long, thoughtful entries; recipe for cucumber soup. And the description of a "Christmas hoover" really made me happy. And oh dear God, the friends list. Picked eleanor because I've always liked that name. Similar to the previous journal-- very like a blog, with long, thoughtful entries and what appears to be quite an interesting life. Another huge friends list, which surprisingly showed up greentara, who I recognized as a friend-of-a-friend. So that brought me to , which brought me back to me. First try, five jumps (or is that four?) Very strange. In South Carolina for the holiday. Main page hard to read, friends page harder. forsythferret - furries are always whimsical and fun. Color scheme hurts. I seem to be on an artistic thread again. imadrunkninja's username made me laugh. She is also having a party called boob-a-palooza, which also makes me laugh. imabigkydnow's username also makes me laugh. Has a color scheme I like a lot too. And a disney icon. So I thought either I am weirdly lucky or this game is WAY too easy. So I tried it again today. Random was chimmychimchim. Really hard to read blue on blue, and I had to do an end run to get to her info page. :p Next was xoverwhelmancex, then gayto_fabulous On that page I chose pwrpffgrrl because that sounded like a fannish name to me, and I figured fans all have huge Flists. But not so, in this case. I should have gone with the other name that caught my interest in that group, use_responsibly. Because he and I both have busterfriendly on our Flists!
